Dear Signature Family,
We wanted to reach out and keep you informed about what is happening at our office. Although our office is physically closed, we have been able to, and will continue to, check in and “see” many of you virtually to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. It has been the highlight of our days to get to “see” so many of you – thank you for trusting us during these times of uncertainty!
As a team, we have grown even closer although physically apart. We still have morning huddles through Zoom, and every single department at Signature Orthodontics is working hard to be even stronger than we were before! We miss seeing everyone, but we know that we will be better because of this.
We anticipate that going forward we will continue to see some patients virtually from the comfort of their homes. There are certain types of appointments that are best suited for this, and you might not have to miss work or school to come into the office as often. We are very excited; however, at the thought of re-opening. Although May 4, 2020 has been announced as a re-opening date by Premier Kenney, that is subject to approved guidelines from our professional governing body. The Alberta Dental Association and College (ADA&C) has advised that “The current suspension of non-emergent dental care remains in place.”
Our goal at Signature Orthodontics is to ensure the safety and protection of each of you, our community, and our team members. In order to achieve this, we will make sure that we adhere to the advised rules and regulations to keep you safe. As we wait for those, we have ordered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our offices, and we are researching and implementing the best practice measures to date.
Stay tuned for more information regarding when we plan on re-opening. If you had an appointment scheduled in the next 2 weeks, May 4 through May 18, it has been cancelled. As we confirm the new regulations, we will contact you to book your appointments. At Signature Orthodontics, we believe that there is always a positive way to look at every situation, and we see nothing but hope and promise through all of this and as a tremendous opportunity for growth and improvement of our teams, patient care, and systems.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We cannot wait to show you the new and improved Signature Orthodontics.
Your Friends,
Dr. Russett, Dr. McKee, Dr. Bharwani and the Signature Orthodontics team
